It started on a dusty desert campsite in the Southwest.

After bending three aluminum stakes and nearly losing our camp set-up in the wind, we were done with compromises.

Standard aluminum stakes are too weak for real terrain.  And yet, all-steel industrial strength ground anchors are just too aggressive and can easily damage tent grommets and RV/camp fabrics.

Van life/RV camping set-ups needed something just right — the Goldilocks of camp spikes.

So we developed NOMAD Spikes — premium screw-in ground anchors that drive easily with a cordless drill or impact driver, grip hard-packed dirt, clay, and rocky soil with serious strength, and include rubber compression washers to protect your gear.  Not too soft, not too aggressive - but just right!

These spikes solve a real problem; strong enough for real camping terrain and yet gentle on your camp  gear.

NOMAD Spikes were built from the ground up to make camping simpler, more secure, and less frustrating. No more struggling with weak stakes or damaging your gear with overly aggressive ground anchors.

Every detail was designed with one goal in mind: to give you a strong, reliable hold in tough terrain while protecting your tent, RV, and camp fabrics, as well as your guy lines. Four years in development, we optimized lengths, diameters, and thread coarseness. The result is a set of purpose-built camp spikes for van lifers, RVers, and campers everywhere.

Our job was simple: make camp spikes stronger, smarter, safer, and speedier.
